The Mobee Magic Charger is a docking station for your Magic Mouse that wirelessly chargers the Magic Mouse’s battery. Inside the box, you get the Base Station, a Battery Pack, a Micro-USB Cable and a User Manual.

To start using the Magic Charger, all you have to do is replace your existing AA batteries with the included Batter Pack and you are good to go. The Magic Charger is designed to stop you from wasting endless amounts of AA batteries. It looks similar to an Apple Product and is a great addition to any desk setup.

A full charge on from the Magic Charger can last up to six days without recharging so you don’t have to worry about charging it all the time.

The base station has an indicator light that shows when the battery pack is charging and when it is fully charged. It also had a red indicator light on all of the time to show that the base station has power.

If you are looking for a way to de-clutter your desk and keep your Magic Mouse charged without wasting money on batteries all of the time, then the Mobee Magic Charger is for you. It looks great and works a treat. It retails on Mobee’s website for $40, which is around £35.

The only downside I found was that the battery pack itself is made out of a cheaper aluminium than the base of the Magic Mouse which may be an issue for some people. The magic mouse is also considerably lighter without regular batteries, this does take some getting use too.

As we expected, It has been confirmed that Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will kick off on the 10th June.

Apple has previously said it would show off new versions of iOS and OSX. The conference runs from June 10th until June 15th. Hopefully we will see iOS 7 (all new redesign), Mac OSX 10.9 and more Social Features.

Of course we will be giving coverage on what happens during that conference.

After dozens of hacks on large accounts, Twitter have finally launched the ability to enable two-step verification on users’ accounts. You can opt in to provide a phone number and a verified email address. Then you will be asked to enter a 6 digit code that is texted to your phone every time you try to log into your account.

This means that if someone is trying to gain access to your account, they will need to be able to see the code that was sent your phone to login.

Last week at Google I/O, Google showcased a new way to search using your voice. Now in the latest version of Chrome, 27, you can use this feature. All you have to do is navigate to Google.com and click on the microphone icon. You will then be asked to say your search term and Google will do the rest. It will also read out what you have searched.

The new update adds the ability for Google to understand and link queries using Google’s Knowledge Graph. For example, if you ask “How old is Barack Obama?”, you can then follow that up with, “How old is he?” and Google will intelligently understand that you are asking how old Barack Obama is.

Battlefield 4 has announced via its website that the game will be released on October 29th of this year. It will be available for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and the recently announced Xbox One. The Xbox One doesn’t have a confirmed release date yet, but if this information is anything to go by, it might be coming sometime in October.

EA also announced Battlefield 4′s first expansion pack, named China Rising. It will contain 4 new maps, extra vehicles and weapons. It will be available at launch, and free to whoever pre-orders the game.

On May 2nd Apple announced that it was close to 50 billion app downloads in its Apple App Store, and just 13 days later it has surpassed that number. Apple hasn’t released who the lucky downloader was, but they are receiving a huge $10,000 Apple gift card.

App downloads have increased in recent years, and this milestone proves that. It took Apple three years and eight months to pass 25 billion downloads, but it only took 14 months and a half months to pass the next 25.

Google may have accidentally let out a little secret: The next version of Android will be named Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The company accidentally pushed a developer page that discussed the operating system. It didn’t have much information on it, but we are sure that we will know plenty more in the 3 hour keynote.

Frostbite 3 Logo

Electronic Arts is planning to port its popular Frostbite engine to iOS and Android. EA are calling it Frostbite Go, and it will eventually be available for iOS and Android, but no release date has been announced.

The news has surfaced after a forum member of NeoGAF spotted a revealing piece of information on the History page of EA’s Frostbite website. Frostbit Go is mention briefly, but this somewhat confirms it.

One of our most exciting current projects is called Frostbite Go, a mobile division empowering EA game developers with Frostbite’s proven excellent workflows and features to bring true Frostbite experiences to all major mobile platforms.

Frostbite Go is also mentioned on the website. EA directly confirms that the game engine will hopefully be available for both iOS and Android at some point in the future:

Runtime in Frostbite supports a highly scalable model in order to appeal to the diverse array of platforms available on today’s market. Efficiency in both our runtime memory and runtime performance are both key factors to enabling code and data systems to deploy content to diverse targets from XBOX360 and PlayStation 4 to iOS and Android.

Frostbite is the engine that powers some of EA’s most impressive games, including Battlefield and Need for Speed. This information means that we may see some very powerful games on our phones in the near future.

In 2010, Epic Games’ Unreal Engine for iOS took mobile gaming to a brand new level. The Unreal Engine powers Infinity Blade, dream:scape and Wild Blood. It offers players impressive environments and incredible graphics. When Frostbite Go Launches, we should see equally outstanding results.

The new colourful buttons for Apps, Games, Movies, Music, Books and Magazines are the biggest design change in this release.  There were also updates to the App pages, as well as the Wishlist, which now shows apps in rows of three.

Other new features include slight changes to the functionality of certain buttons. The Update All function now works for apps with new permissions, and Google warns users about large updates when they are using a mobile-data connection.

Android owners can wait for the over-the-air update to get the new features.
